Inclusion College

Where well-being and education matters

Vision and Values

Our vision is of a college which provides a stimulating and engaging environment that promotes effective learning and develops the aspiration of our students enabling them to thrive.

Our Aims

Inclusion College aims:

  • to create a place where students thrive, supporting them to develop good mental health in an environment where they feel safe, happy and confident to learn.
  • To offer a curriculum that meets the needs of the students and offers recognized qualifications as well as developing independence and empowering the students to have increased control over their own lives.

We will do this by:

  • Supporting positive mental health and fostering life skills, communication and independence to enable them to be more independent in adulthood and to take their place in society.
  • Supporting students to develop a range of interests, develop friendships and to learn about citizenship and respect for others.
  • Guiding students and families to identify future destinations and work together to execute a successful transition.
  • Liaising with and supporting parents, carers, families and the local community as essential partners of the college community.

The college is committed to being an inclusive environment where differences are valued, and individuality is accepted. Our key behaviours are kindness, respect, cooperation and positive social interactions. Trusting and supportive relationships between staff and students enable our students to develop confidence that they can move forward and enjoy learning and developing.
