What to expect during the admissions process

Admissions

Inclusion College Basingstoke

We take referrals from Local Authorities (LAs) for students with a particular focus on those experiencing mental health issues and the co-occurance with neurodiversity and additional learning needs.

All students at Inclusion College require an EHCP.

Parents and carers can not self refer.

Once the initial referral is received and suitability assessed, we can arrange a visit to the College or a home visit to meet the young person and their family, outlining our way of working and how we plan to support that individual. Students can also meet staff and see the environment before they start.

The final decision on whether or not we can provide a suitable environment and meet the needs of the student will be made by the Head.
