This week is Life Skills Week at Inclusion College. Throughout the week students will be taking part in a range of activities and challenges to promote and enhance their life skills and knowledge.
Running for the second year, our Life Skills Week is taking place from 6th – 10th February.
Activities include Makaton, Driving Skills, Household Finance, and mock interviews. The week culminates in the ultimate College Crystal Maze challenge where students earn tokens for completing a series of challenges such as changing bed covers, ironing a shirt, making a snack and hot drink and composing and sending an email requesting information from their tutor.
Students can win prizes for finishing all the tasks.
Head of Inclusion College Marie Greenhalgh is looking forward to the week long event. ‘ This was amazing last year and we had such positive feedback from students and families about it. We hope to make this an annual event and can’t wait to see the students taking part in some of this year’s challenges.’
